This is the same as every team meeting because since we began in 2011, we have been a remote working business. This means that we can continue to support you whatever the circumstances of your business. If we work with you on site, let me assure you we have developed guidelines to ensure our team can continue to work safely with you. If you prefer or need to switch to remote working models, as you can see, we are all over the remote working model… And we are happy to share our experience and expertise in how this can work for you.
That said, we do have a favour to ask of you, so we can all continue to thrive and survive in this current climate. Please bear with us as we ensure we keep our people safe and healthy while they advise you on making sure your team is also safe and well. What does this mean? From our perspective:
- Ensure you have great procedures in the workplace to keep you and us safe when we are on site with you. Our team can help you look at things like how social distancing will work, what you need to do to ensure hygiene, alternative working frameworks etc. Please ensure you are following the health guidelines that helps us ensure we are meeting our number one commitment to our employees, to keep them safe
- If we go to a remote working model, please bear with our team in terms of their other responsibilities. This may mean, like others, they have family members, including children at home. As such, their availability may be a little more restricted or there may be the odd elements of ‘background activity’ if the kids are at home. We will all attempt to ensure the service is as professionally presented as always, but if you do have any issues with this, please raise your hand and let us know. While you may have one account manager, we have a team of people who may be able to jump in and help out
- Keep us up to date as things change for your business and we will most certainly do the same in terms of Employee Matters. This is, as we know, an exceptionally dynamic environment. Things will change. All we ask is that the communication lines are kept open so that we know, as soon as you can tell us, of any changes so that we can help plan for the changes with you.
As I mentioned a little earlier, these are uncertain times. We are here to support you through and ensure your business is set up to succeed and we get through this… and we will get through this, together. And remember, your employees really do matter.
